5 Sports-people using WordPress
WordPress is software that powers more Websites than any other Content Management System (CMS). Occasionally, when pitching to clients, the customer will ask me who uses WordPress or if it can fill a certain functionality. I’ll therefore Post a few articles showing who uses WordPress to give people a better idea of just how popular and powerful WordPress is.

Andy Roddick is a an American tennis player and former number 1 ranked tennis player. His Website is powered by WordPress with the contact form and list through Constant Contact. The WordPress Theme is custom designed and includes sliders, RSS, Video, Affiliate advertising and much more.
Mark Weber
Mark Weber is an Australian Formula 1 driver racing with the Red Bull-Renault team. His WordPress powered Website uses the very good Shopp plugin for Online shopping. Other Plugins used include WP jQuery Lightbox, Nextgen Gallery and Countdown Timer.
Jeff Lawson
Jeff is a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter from England. His Website home Page is a Blog showing the latest three posts. WordPress Plugins used include Nextgen Gallery, Tubepress and Easy Table Creator.
Kobe Bryant
Kobe Bryant is a professional basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers. He uses Nextgen Gallery, Flickr Gallery and other Plugins with a custom Theme to power his WordPress Website. Buddypress is also installed to power membership socializing on the Site.
Lance Armstrong
Lance Armstrong is a road racing cyclist who won the Tour De France seven times in succession. His Livestrong Blog is powered by WordPress. The design is refreshingly simple but very effective and is based on the 960 Grid System.
