Jango ROCKS
Jango is basically streaming online music. It is similar to free online radio stations with the significant exceptions being; one can customise the music played and it is a true social media site in that it links users with similar tastes in music.
Enjoying customised music from Jango is as simple as setting up a station (or several stations) at http://www.jango.com and then adding artists you like. As songs are played you are able to rate them to never play again, play again or play often. Jango also plays artists similar to those you have selected for your station and I have noticed that recently Jango is far better at recommending very similar artists (the recommendations used to be very loosely similar to artists selected to play on the station).
The revenue model is based on advertising income and music sales therefore it is totally free to created and listen to streaming music stations. I love Jango and thoroughly recommend it!
