St George Players Thank You Letter
I’ve recently completed a WordPress Website for a music school called St George Players in Oatley near Sydney, Australia. Jan and David (of St. George Players) had an existing HTML Website, a wordpress.com blog and Facebook and Twitter Pages. In addition to a more cohesive and integrated Website experience for visitors, Jan and David need to be able to update content frequently as well as have as much on-page Search Engine Optimization (SEO) as possible.
The end result is a Website that is simple to navigate whilst allowing for the easy addition of text, video and images that help Jan and David to educate others about music whilst selling their music school services. Their Website is an excellent example of how a WordPress Website full of functionality and content can look ‘clean’ and uncluttered.
Below is a kind letter sent to me by Jan (I now need to get around to updating my WordPress portfolio with some of my newer work so that I can showcase the St George Players Website and others !):

Dear Garry
David and I are delighted with the WordPress website that you built for our music school. We have had a conventional website for many years but we were getting very frustrated at our inability to change it. Music schools are dynamic organisations with frequent changes of newsletters, students, concerts, instrumental groups and fees that require almost weekly changes. We decided that we had to take charge of our own website and discovered that this could be achieved by re-designing it on WordPress.
Although we are both quite computer literate, we decided that we did not have the skills to make this shift to WordPress and went looking for an expert. Finding you was a delight because you quickly understood our needs and were also flexible and understanding. The result is a website that we can understand and change, meets our needs and looks fantastic. We also wanted to raise our profile on the Internet and thus attract more customers. We were amazed to see our Website grading rise from a pathetic rating of 2 to a healthy 46 in just a few weeks.
Many thanks for all your help and encouragement.
Yours sincerely
Jan Thorpe
