World IPv6 Day
Today, June 8 2011, is very significant in the life of the Internet; it is the official Internet Protocol version 6 test day where many organizations ‘switch on’ IPv6 to test it on a large scale. A few of the participants in World IPv6 day are Cisco, Google, Facebook, Yahoo, Huawei, Harvard University, US Department of Veterans Affairs, Mozilla, McGill University and Chrysler Group so it is not just technology companies participating.
