An Online Alternative for Flowcharting
Many of us use Microsoft Visio for flow-charting and process mapping. MS Visio is widely used and has some very
powerful and useful features. MS Visio however can be overwhelming for new users and is costly to use (a free alternative to MS Visio is OpenOffice Draw).
For those who only flowchart occasionally or those with basic process mapping or flowcharting needs then there is a great Online service available; Lovely Charts. Lovely Charts has a limited functionality ‘Basic’ version which is free and a ‘premium’ version which is slightly more powerful and allows multiple flowcharts to be saved Online. Functionality is limited for those looking for the more powerful features of MS Visio however Lovely Charts is evolving and maturing all the time.
Power-users of MS Visio and OpenOffice Draw will have limited use for Lovely Charts however those who need to occasionally create awesome looking flowcharts with ease will love Lovely Charts.
